30. Sacramento Kings (15-50)
The Kings sit dead last at number 15 in the Western Conference. They did manage to beat Chicago 126-110 on Sunday with sharp scoring. But losses keep piling up, including a tough 133-123 defeat to New Orleans on Thursday. Zion Williamson scored 23 points and Trey Murphy III added 21 in that loss. Sacramento needs a fresh start.
29. Indiana Pacers (15-49)
Indiana's season has been rough without Haliburton. The Pacers are number 15 in the Eastern Conference and struggling badly. Portland crushed them 131-111 on Sunday behind strong defense from Holiday and Avdija. The Lakers also rolled past them 128-117 on Friday as Luka Doncic exploded for 44 points. The young players are learning but wins are hard to find.
28. Brooklyn Nets (16-47)
Brooklyn is building for the future and sitting at number 13 in the East. They grabbed a tight 107-105 win over Detroit on Saturday. Michael Porter Jr. and Ziaire Williams made clutch plays late. But Miami handed them a 126-110 loss on Thursday. Kel'el Ware dominated with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 7 blocks, and 5 steals. The Nets are focused on their young core.
27. Washington Wizards (16-47)
The Wizards are number 14 in the Eastern Conference and learning hard lessons. New Orleans destroyed them 138-118 on Sunday behind Zion's efficient play and Murphy's all-around game. Utah also beat them 122-112 on Thursday. Ace Bailey scored 32 points and Isaiah Collier added 27 for the Jazz. Washington's rebuild continues.
26. Utah Jazz (19-45)
Utah sits at number 14 in the West and shows flashes of promise. Ace Bailey dropped 32 points and Isaiah Collier scored 27 in their 122-112 win over Washington on Thursday. But Milwaukee beat them 113-99 on Saturday as Giannis powered through. Young stars like Keyonte George and Bailey give fans hope for the future.
25. New Orleans Pelicans (21-45)
The Pelicans are number 13 in the Western Conference and fighting injuries. They crushed Washington 138-118 on Sunday behind Zion and Trey Murphy III. But Phoenix survived a nail-biter Friday night, winning 118-116. Devin Booker scored 32 points in that close finish. New Orleans needs their injured stars back soon.
24. Dallas Mavericks (21-43)
Dallas is number 12 in the West and stuck in a terrible losing streak. Toronto crushed them 122-92 on Sunday. RJ Barrett scored 31 points and Scottie Barnes added 17. Boston also beat them 120-100 on Friday. Cooper Flagg is the bright spot with dazzling performances, but the Mavericks keep losing.
23. Memphis Grizzlies (23-39)
Memphis sits at number 11 in the Western Conference. The Clippers came back from 18 down to beat them 123-120 on Saturday. Kawhi Leonard scored 28 points to lead the comeback. Portland also won 122-114 on Wednesday. Jrue Holiday dropped 35 points and 11 assists while Jerami Grant added 30. The Grizzlies need more consistency.
22. Chicago Bulls (26-38)
The Bulls are number 12 in the East and struggling. Sacramento's sharp scoring beat them 126-110 on Sunday despite efforts from Josh Giddey and Matas Buzelis. But Chicago grabbed a huge upset Thursday, beating Phoenix 105-103. Collin Sexton dropped 30 points in that nail-biter. The young core keeps fighting.
21. Milwaukee Bucks (27-36)
Milwaukee is number 11 in the Eastern Conference. Orlando absolutely dominated them 130-91 on Sunday. Paolo led the Magic in a balanced attack with stifling defense. But the Bucks bounced back Saturday, beating Utah 113-99. Giannis powered through to get the victory. Milwaukee needs to find consistency fast.
20. Portland Trail Blazers (31-34)
Portland sits at number 10 in the West. They rolled past Indiana 131-111 on Sunday. Holiday and Avdija led with great defense to shut down the Pacers. But Houston beat them 106-99 on Friday. Alperen Sengun scored 28 points and Amen Thompson added 26. Donovan Clingan keeps showing his interior presence with strong rebounding.
19. LA Clippers (31-32)
The Clippers are number 9 in the Western Conference. Kawhi Leonard's 28 points powered their comeback Saturday, beating Memphis 123-120. Darius Garland and Bennedict Mathurin each scored 21 points. But San Antonio won 116-112 on Friday. Victor Wembanyama dominated in all areas for the Spurs. The Clippers remain inconsistent.
18. Charlotte Hornets (32-33)
Charlotte is number 10 in the East. Phoenix beat them 111-99 on Sunday, but LaMelo Ball showed flashes of brilliance. Miami also won a tough battle 128-120 on Friday. Tyler Herro had a big night and Bam Adebayo impacted everything. But the Hornets crushed Boston 118-89 on Wednesday, showing their young core's potential.
17. Golden State Warriors (32-31)
The Warriors are number 8 in the Western Conference. Oklahoma City beat them 104-97 on Saturday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led OKC with 27 points while Gui Santos scored 22 for Golden State. But the Warriors escaped Houston in overtime Thursday, winning 115-113. Brandin Podziemski led with 26 points in that thriller.
16. Atlanta Hawks (33-31)
Atlanta sits at number 9 in the Eastern Conference. They beat Philadelphia 125-116 on Saturday. Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels led the charge against the shorthanded Sixers. The Hawks also crushed Milwaukee 131-113 on Wednesday. Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 23 points in that comeback victory. Atlanta's defense-first identity is working.
