Thunder Roll Into San Antonio Up 2-1
The Oklahoma City Thunder are one win away from the Finals. They lead this series 2-1 after dominating Game 3 on the road. Their last game showed why they're defending champs—they crushed San Antonio 123-108 with balanced scoring and suffocating defense. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander runs this offense like a master conductor. The reigning MVP orchestrates every possession. Behind him, Chet Holmgren stretches the floor and guards everything. Isaiah Hartenstein anchors the paint. Even with injuries slowing them down, Oklahoma City has answered every challenge San Antonio threw at them.
Can the Spurs Bounce Back at Home?
San Antonio's back is against the wall. Victor Wembanyama is a seven-foot-four force of nature who can shoot, defend, and do everything in between. De'Aaron Fox brings scoring and playmaking. Stephon Castle runs the offense with poise. Dylan Harper and Devin Vassell provide scoring punch off the bench. The Spurs dominated early in Game 3 but couldn't close it out—that's what separates good teams from great ones. San Antonio needs to execute better down the stretch and use their home crowd as a weapon.
Game 4 Determines the Finals Matchup
This is it. The Thunder want to close this series and move on. San Antonio wants to force a Game 5 and prove they belong in the Finals. Oklahoma City's depth gives them a massive advantage. Even with injuries to Jalen Williams and others, their bench stays dangerous. The Spurs have the talent to win at home, but they need everyone clicking offensively. Wembanyama must dominate. Fox must facilitate. One mistake in the fourth quarter could end San Antonio's magical run. The winner advances to the NBA Finals.
