Southeast Division Sees Major Shakeup
The Southeast Division is heating up as teams battle for playoff spots. Charlotte is on fire while Orlando fights to stay ahead.
Orlando Magic Hold First Place
The Magic sit at the top with a 28-25 record. But things aren't looking good right now. They've lost many games and struggled badly.
Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Desmond Bane form their Big Three. Wagner scores about 23 points per game while Banchero grabs about 8 rebounds. Bane adds about 19 points each night.
Orlando lost to Milwaukee 116-108 last Wednesday. Cam Thomas poured in 34 points for the Bucks. The Magic need to find their rhythm again before the playoffs arrive.
Miami Heat Stay Close Behind
Miami sits in eighth place with a 29-27 record. They're only half a game behind Orlando in the division race.
Bam Adebayo dominates inside with about 18 points and 10 rebounds per game. Tyler Herro lights it up from outside with about 23 points nightly.
The Heat beat New Orleans 123-111 last Wednesday. Adebayo was unstoppable with 27 points and 14 rebounds. He caught passes, spun around defenders, and finished strong at the rim.
Charlotte Hornets Catch Fire
The Hornets are the hottest team in the division. They won nine games straight before losing to Detroit!
LaMelo Ball runs the show with about 20 points and 9 assists. Brandon Miller scores about 18 points per game. Together they're impossible to stop.
Miller exploded for 31 points against Atlanta on Wednesday. Charlotte won 110-107 in a nail-biter. Miller drained three-pointers and attacked the basket fearlessly.
Atlanta Hawks Fight Back
The Hawks sit at 26-30 in tenth place. They lost to Charlotte but showed fight throughout.
Jalen Johnson does everything with about 24 points, 8 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Washington Wizards Keep Building
The Wizards struggle at 14-39 in last place. They're focused on developing young talent.
Trae Young leads and Anthony Davis are out. Alexandre Sarr scores about 18 points nightly. They lost to Cleveland 138-113 but continue working hard.
The Southeast Division promises exciting basketball ahead as teams push toward the playoffs.
