Week 10 NFL Power Rankings (32–17)
Week 10 brought big shakeups across the league as rebuilding teams made tough choices, playoff hopefuls stumbled, and young quarterbacks started to show what they can really do. The trade deadline changed the outlook for several teams, and now every game feels more important than ever.
32. New York Jets (1–7)
The Jets were on a BYE but land in last place because traded away two of their best players, Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, signaling a full rebuild. Their latest loss showed how limited the offense is, with long drives almost impossible to sustain. Younger players are getting real experience now, but patience will be key for the future.
31. Tennessee Titans (1–8)
The Titans lost 27–20 to the Chargers after leading early, and that’s been their story all season. Rookie quarterback Cameron Ward makes exciting plays but still struggles under pressure. The defense plays hard but gets worn down by the fourth quarter.
30. New Orleans Saints (1–8)
The Saints were overwhelmed 34–10 by the Rams in a game that showed how far they’ve fallen. Quarterback Tyler Shough threw a touchdown but also costly interceptions. The defense gave up big plays and couldn’t slow down Matthew Stafford’s passing attack.
29. Miami Dolphins (2–7)
Miami was outmatched in a 28–6 loss to Baltimore, where Lamar Jackson returned from injury and threw four touchdowns. Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle couldn’t get anything going against constant pressure. The Dolphins need stronger line play on both sides to compete again.
28. New York Giants (2–7)
The Giants fell 34–24 to the 49ers but showed some fight behind rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. Dart threw and ran for touchdowns, proving he’s growing into the role. The defense, though, gave up too many long gains in key moments.
27. Las Vegas Raiders (2–6)
The Raiders lost a heartbreaking overtime game to the Jaguars and then traded Jakobi Meyers to the team that beat them. Brock Bowers looked incredible in his return but the offense couldn’t finish drives when it mattered most. With young players now in bigger roles, Las Vegas looks focused on 2026 instead of 2025.
26. Cleveland Browns (2–6)
Cleveland’s offense once again came up short in their latest defeat, failing to score touchdowns in the red zone. Their defense continues to fight hard but can’t carry the entire load. Until the Browns find steady quarterback play, close losses will keep piling up.
25. Washington Commanders (3–6)
Washington was dominated 38–14 by the Seahawks as Sam Darnold threw four touchdowns. Jayden Daniels made a few good plays but couldn’t handle the constant pressure from Seattle’s front seven and got hurt in the process. The Commanders' playoff dreams might be over if Daniels can't come back.
24. Cincinnati Bengals (3–6)
The Bengals lost an incredible 47–42 shootout to Chicago in one of the week’s wildest games. Joe Flacco threw for 470 yards, but the defense collapsed late. Without Joe Burrow, the Bengals can score points, but they can’t close games.
23. Houston Texans (3–5)
The Texans dropped a tight 18–15 battle to Denver in a defensive slugfest. Backup Davis Mills filled in well for an injured C.J. Stroud, but the offense kept stalling near the end zone. The defense continues to compete, but this team struggles to finish strong.
22. Arizona Cardinals (3–5)
The Cardinals pulled off a 27–17 win in Dallas behind stars Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride. Jacoby Brissett played smart football, spreading the ball around and protecting possessions. The defense sealed the game with a late interception that showed real growth.
21. Atlanta Falcons (3–5)
The Falcons lost a heartbreaker 24–23 to the Patriots after missing a key extra point. Michael Penix Jr. threw three touchdowns, all to Drake London, who continues to shine. If Atlanta can clean up small mistakes, they could easily be a .500 team.
20. Dallas Cowboys (3–5–1)
The Cowboys’ 27–17 loss to Arizona raised big questions about their focus and effort. Dak Prescott played well early but threw a costly interception late. The defense looked lost against the Cardinals’ young receivers and must tighten up fast. They hope to improve their defense after acquiring Quinnin Williams from the Jets.
19. Baltimore Ravens (3–5)
The Ravens looked revived in their 28–6 win over the Dolphins, thanks to Lamar Jackson’s return from injury. Jackson threw four touchdowns and looked as explosive as ever. Baltimore’s defense also dominated, forcing turnovers and keeping Miami’s offense quiet.
18. Minnesota Vikings (4–4)
Minnesota’s 27–24 comeback win over the Lions might be their most important victory this year. J.J. McCarthy ran for a touchdown and played with confidence in key moments. The defense forced big turnovers to help seal the upset.
17. Carolina Panthers (5–4)
The Panthers shocked the Packers 16–13 at Lambeau Field in a gritty, defensive win. Running back Rico Dowdle powered the team with 130 rushing yards and two scores. Carolina is finding an identity built on running the ball and making clutch plays late.
The bottom half of the league is full of teams searching for identity, some rebuilding, others still fighting for consistency. Young quarterbacks like McCarthy, Dart, and Penix Jr. are giving their teams hope, while veterans like Dak Prescott and Joe Flacco are still trying to find rhythm. As the playoff race heats up, these squads will need growth, discipline, and just a bit of luck to climb higher in the coming weeks.
